ASCO 2025: A Must-Attend Event for the Clinical Oncology Community

The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2025 Annual Meeting is just around the corner. This event invites oncology professionals from around the globe come together to connect, collaborate, and inspire with a shared goal of transforming the future of cancer care.

Here’s what you should know about this year’s event at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago Illinois, May 30-June 3.

Throughout the four-day program, over 200 sessions will complement this year’s theme: “Driving Knowledge to Action: Building a Better Future.” A combination of plenary sessions, oral abstract sessions, case-based panels, and poster presentations guarantee to intrigue and inspire attendees with clinically relevant cancer science information. Networking Opportunities

In addition to all of the scheduled talks, the 2025 ASCO Annual Meeting will provide many opportunities for connection and collaboration. A career fair will take place during the first three days of the event, highlighting available career options in hospitals, academic institutions, private practices, and oncology firms with recruiters ready to answer questions. Oncology authors, researchers, or individuals interested in publishing can meet with JCO Journals editors in JCO Central for discussions regarding manuscript submissions, scientific research, and publication amplification. For women in oncology, there will be a networking center with opportunities for one-on-one mentoring meetings, roundtable discussions, and panel talks.

The 2025 ASCO Annual Meeting will also feature a few lounges available for specific attendees to relax, network, and enjoy drinks and snacks. One lounge will be available for registered patient advocates or patient advocate exhibitors to network, enjoy refreshments, and attend special information sessions. Another lounge will be available for individuals interested in professional development, and it will offer opportunities to attend panel or roundtable talks and engage in one-on-one career conversations. Lastly, an exclusive lounge will be available for those who have donated to Conquer Cancer.
