Precision psychiatry has arrived with the introduction of MindLight™ from Circular Genomics. The MindLight test is the first antidepressant response test using brain-derived biomarkers, known as circular RNAs, to provide real-time insights into a patient’s current biological state. By measuring circular RNAs, the test can predict the likelihood of a patient with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) to respond to selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant treatment.
