Alloy Therapeutics and KSAC Announce Strategic Collaboration to Boost Japanese Biotech Startups

Alloy Therapeutics and Serbia’s BIO4 Campus Partner to Advance Global Bioeconomy and Biotech Innovation
BOSTON, MA and TOKYO, JAPAN, July 22, 2025 (Alloy Therapeutics)Alloy Therapeutics Co. Ltd. (Alloy Japan) and the Kansai Startup Academia Coalition (KSAC), led by Kyoto University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support Japanese life science startups.
 
The collaboration aims to connect academic innovations with global biopharma markets, leveraging Alloy’s biologics discovery technologies and KSAC’s network of over 90 academic institutions. Alloy Japan will support KSAC’s GAP Fund program, providing funding and resources to early-stage projects. The partnership seeks to enhance Japan’s biotech ecosystem by fostering entrepreneurship and global competitiveness. ‘Alloy’s capabilities and global network bring a highly complementary strength to our mission,’ said Koji Murota of Kyoto University. The three-year MOU will expand to additional KSAC initiatives.
