Matias has more than ten years of research experience in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. He specializes in biomedical applications of neuroimmunology and inflammation research findings. Matias has published more than ten peer-reviewed research articles, contributed to writing several NIH grants, and designed and executed comprehensive scientific marketing strategies. Matias holds a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. in Biomedicine and an M.Sc. and BS in biochemistry. In a previous role, Matias worked as the Head of Science and Product Development at an artificial intelligence start-up, Cellter PR, where he led a team of data scientists to develop explainable AI/ML models to predict sepsis and death.
